1. How do I book a slot at a BenchLab workshop/course via website?
You can access the list of upcoming BenchLab workshops/courses by clicking on the “Workshops/Courses” link at the navigation menu. Click on any particular workshop/course that you are interested in.
To book for a BenchLab workshop/course advertised on the website, please click the “Book Now” button. Some of the details we will require from you in the Booking Form are your full name, contact number, email, payment method and name of attendees (if not yourself). All information will be kept confidential to BenchLab.
However, this does not guarantee your slot at the workshop/course until full payment has been made and verified by our management.
2. How do I make payment at a BenchLab workshop/course via website?
We will contact you within 24 hours based on the contact details you have provided in the Booking Form. To complete the registration process, please make full payment by the given deadline.
BenchLab currently only accepts three methods of payment: Baiduri bank or BIBD Online Transfer, Baiduri bank or BIBD Cash Deposit Machine (CDM) at any Baiduri bank or BIBD branch and through the progresif pay app. Proof of payment (screenshot of progresif pay transfer transaction, BIBD Online Transfer or Photo of CDM Receipt) is required. We will guarantee your seat(s) at BenchLab workshop/course after validating your payment.
However, please be aware of any additional charge and check with your bank if you are not using BIBD and intend to make payment via an online transfer. Please contact us here if you have any problem.
3. Is there a refund policy?
No refund policy. Transferrable to another person, not another session.
4. Is there any dress code for the workshop/course I’m going for?
No particular dress code, unless stated in the advertisement.
5. What is included in the price of the workshop?
Unless stated, you will get the minimum requirement of supplies and on-loan tools for your chosen BenchLab workshop/course.
6. Where will the BenchLab workshop/course be held?

BenchLab is currently operating in BenchLab Makerspace as well as at BenchLab Venue Partners in Brunei-Muara District, Brunei Darussalam.
7. How long will each BenchLab workshop/course run?
It varies. Some BenchLab workshops may run for 3 hours. Some BenchLab courses may be conducted on different days. Please check for the details in the advertisement.
8. Can you accommodate people with disabilities?
Of course, BenchLab believes everyone has the opportunity to learn new skills! However, we would love to discuss with you on the details. Please contact us here.
9. Is there a minimum requirement of skills for BenchLab workshops/courses?
Because BenchLab encourages you to explore all kinds of skills, most of our workshops have been designed for individuals with no experience or skill in that particular field. However, any pre-requisite skills will be stated in the advertisement.
10. Can I bring someone along to the workshop/course?
Seats and supplies are limited to those who have registered and paid for the BenchLab workshops/courses only.
11. Will refreshment be provided?
Unless stated, the cost of refreshment is not included in the stated fee for each BenchLab workshop.
12. Do I need to bring anything if I sign up for a BenchLab workshop/course?
BenchLab wants to make it easy and enjoyable for you to learn. Unless stated, you are not required to bring anything… well, except for your excitement to learn something new! However, if you prefer to work with your own tools and equipment, please contact us here.
13. Will I get any certificates when I complete a BenchLab workshop/course?
Yes, you will receive an e-certificate at the end of the workshop/course if full payment has been made by the registration deadline.
