Dear Teachers, is bullying a common school problem? Join this 018MMA workshop to learn how teachers can identify and manage the various types of bullies. Let’s work together towards a Bully-Free Brunei.

Recommendation: It is encouraged to wear comfortable sports attire and to bring own bottled drinks and towels. Bring along your burning questions for “No to Bullies”.

By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) how to identify different types of bullying amongst students in school settings, 2) how to control and manage when an act of bullying occurs, 3) the effective communication with students on how to avoid being victims of bullies and build their self-esteem, 4) how to instill positive values in students such as showing others respect, empathy, compassion and friendship, 5) how to prevent students from bullying others and 6) how to be equipped with the correct techniques to intervene if physical aggression is being used during the act of bullying.

BenchLab Talented Instructor: Master Adey of 018MMA. You’ll be learning from a head coach of 018MMA gym who established ZerOnEight gym in 2016. Master Adey started his career as a Taekwondo assistant coach in 2001. He is a certified instructor in Taekwondo (International) 5th Dan holder, ISKA kickboxing coach, ISKA kickboxing & MMA referee and level 2 Sports Science and Strength & Conditioning. On top of that, he has done countless seminars and workshops that focus on important themes including bullying prevention. He believes in a bully-free country and the only way to truly achieve that is to learn and work together in solidarity to spread an awareness of bullying prevention across the nation.
