Recommendation: Bring along your excitement, burning questions about wristlet sewing. It is recommended to bring your own portable sewing machine.
By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) how to make a clematis wristlet that can be used as a cosmetic pouch, 2) the basic operation of domestic/industrial sewing machine, 3) how to trace and cut pattern from the template given into fabric and interfacing, 4) how to attach the interfacing, 5) how to make the wristlet ban and attaching the D ring, swivel clasp, and rivet on it, 6) how to attach zipper and making zipper tab, 7) how to prepare the small pocket which will be attached to the interior fabric, 8) how to sew the gussets and the sides of the wristlet—exterior and interior sides, and 9) how to close the opening gap in the interior.
BenchLab Talented Instructor: Yugi Dewiratih of Dewiratihyugi.Artwork. You’ll be learning from a talented woman from Bandung, Indonesia who has been creating beautiful craftwork in Brunei for almost ten years. You’ll not believe that this artistic talent is actually a brilliant architect and Master of Management graduate.
