BenchLab Talented Instructor: Suhanah Hozaini. You’ll be learning from a housewife whose passion for sewing is contagious! At first, Suhanah didn’t even think twice to take up sewing but her interest in clothing led her to her first sewing class in Singapore at the age of 15. With the knowledge, she gained from her sewing classes, she now helps her daughter in selling glass straws that come with mini pouches. Suhanah is an advocate on decreasing of fabric scraps hence she came up with the idea of sewing old fabrics and coming up with new products! She wishes students see the importance of upcycling clothes to create something useful that they can sell to the public!
