By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) the fundamental of watercolour safety for yourself and family, 2) the basic watercolour history and contemporary artists, 3) to identify suitable watercolour tools and materials, 4) the basic of watercolour - charts, wheels & colour swatches, 5) laying swatches using wet into wet, wet on dry, glazing and colour blending technique, 6) basic flower stroke on direct brush painting hand lettering writing and 7) to paint beautiful loose florals (rose, poppies, peonies, leaves) in bouquet and filler stroke.
BenchLab Talented Instructor: Ratna Dasuki of ratnadasuki. You’ll be learning from the founder of House of Handpainting, a design house that specializes in custom-made printed fabric merchandise. The mother of four worked as a major engineering consultant in Kuala Lumpur prior to her current lifestyle as an artist and instructor in Miri, Sarawak. As an avid traveller, Ratna still attends art lessons all over the globe to enhance her creativity. With an experience of sharing her knowledge in water colouring to adults and children, Ratna wishes to extend her expertise in the field to more people.
