Recommendation: Bring along your excitement for ukulele!

By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) the basic strumming skills and musical theory behind ukulele, 2) the ability to play common chords and transitions between them and 3) the sense of rhythm to be able to play any song.

BenchLab Talented Instructor: Jay M. Johar of Jay M. Johar. You’ll be learning from a Brunei-based photographer who also has a passion for music! Jay started playing the ukulele when he was studying in the UK, 7 years ago. He was inspired to tap into the music culture as he was surrounded by talented musicians which made him develop the skills faster. Jay has also performed in front of a live audience during the Collective’s Big Jam and has taught many in playing the ukulele. With this workshop, Jay hopes to share his love for music with those who share the same passion.
