Registration Deadline: 20 July 2019

By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) the importance of recycling paper, 2) in depth on the origins of paper, 3) the artistic possibilities that can be made using paper and 4) the usage of natural ingredients in making paper.

BenchLab Talented Instructor: Hasbullah Yahya. You’ll be learning from another eco-warrior whose art plays a role in saving our planet. He was first introduced to papermaking when he was studying at Bandung Institute of Technology and completely fell in love with the art. Seeing how uncommon it is in Brunei, he devoted his time and energy to mastering it by attending all related workshops. Once he was confident enough, he started making his own workshop to spread awareness on the art. Having to conduct workshops gives him a chance to expose the importance of recycling paper to reduce physical waste and to save the trees, eventually helping in saving the planet.
