BenchLab Talented Instructor: Ong Siok Yan. You’ll be learning from an individual who started her journey as a masters student reading Deafhood Studies and then took it as a career path. Since 2007, she has been teaching hearing impaired children; helping them and their family members communicate has always been the biggest takeaway. Despite having a qualification, it wasn’t the end of her learning journey. She continues to train while also facilitating workshops. She hopes to help the local sign language community grow by sharing her knowledge and spreading the awareness for it!
