By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) the common ingredients used in cooking Filipino cuisine, 2) basic techniques of cooking and techniques required to properly emulate the flavours, and 3) how to cook Adobo and Sinampalukang stews without salt, oil and sugar.
BenchLab Talented Instructor: Irene Javier. You’ll be learning from an individual with an adventurous palate and a heart for food! Her love for cooking started when she was helping out in the kitchen when she was little. Cooking for her family leaves her content and it drives her to explore foods of different cultures and origins. She has been actively joining cooking classes, from dim sum making to tarts baking. Trying out different food and learning to replicate them at home became a hobby and leaves her with a sense of achievement. Irene hopes to show people authentic Filipino delicacies and how cultural exploration can start in the comfort of your own kitchen!
