By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) the correct techniques to make flour-based (dutch style) croquettes, 2) the proper deep frying techniques, 3) how to create different flavours of mayo-based dips, 4) how to properly fillet a salmon, 5) how to properly cook a salmon to obtain a crispy skin, 6) how to build flavours from pan sauces (juice) using the right herb and spices, 7) how to cook a seafood flavoured rice.
BenchLab Talented Instructor: Chef Hakeem of Ricardo’s. You’ll be learning from the chef behind the delicious Mexican food at Ricardo’s! Certified by American Culinary Federation, Chef Hakeem has been gathering culinary skills over the past decade. From the experiences gathered from North America and Brunei Darussalam, Chef Hakeem has continuously inspired others through cooking demonstrations and food product development. With his exceptional love for food, Chef Hakeem is also a certified accountant and not putting this skill to waste, he is now an owner of a Mexican Food Restaurant called Ricardo’s. He is currently operating two branches, one in Kuala Belait and one in Brunei Muara along with his catering services. With this workshop, Chef Hakeem hopes to instil and ignite people’s love for Mexican food!
