By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) the introduction to basics of HTTP/HTTPS, 2) how to setup web proxy to intercept and modify web request and responses, 3) how to hunt for common web vulnerabilities/bugs from the latest OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) top 10 and its exploitation and 4) practical steps and advice on how to secure web application services.
BenchLab Talented Instructor: Sadiq of ambuyat.io. You’ll be learning from a mechanical engineer who is an information security enthusiast. Sadiq started to go into cybersecurity in 2014 and has competed in national cybersecurity events that were previously conducted by ITPSS/BruCert. Additionally, Sadiq is also one of the team members who will be representing Brunei in the upcoming Cyber SEA game in Bangkok this year. With this workshop, he wishes to raise awareness on the various vulnerabilities that may exist from our daily usage of computer/mobile devices and also introducing the exciting world of cybersecurity in hopes to increase the local skill pool in this field.
