By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) the crucial techniques when dealing with making pastries, 2) new flavours that can be used, 3) more knowledge on the ingredients used during the session and 4) time management when baking the tarts.
BenchLab Talented Instructor: Nadiah Yassin of Yasfiani YS Bake Studio. You’ll be learning from a boss lady who turned her fascination for desserts into a career! As a child, she has been always been awed by the creations of celebrity bakers on the television. Equipped with her parents’ baking studio, she made full use of the opportunity to replicate the recipes and built her confidence from the numerous practice sessions. Her drive and determination resulted in the innovative and creative tartlets she’s selling now. She also conducts training sessions for ‘O’ level Home Economics students annually since 2014 to share her knowledge and skills, especially in preparation for the exam. Nadiah hopes to share her passion for desserts creations and encourages the foodie community to explore the endless possibilities to baking and flavour creation.
