By the end of this workshop, you are officially #MadeInBenchLab and will know: 1) how to sew your shopping bag with domestic/industrial sewing machine, 2) how to create patterns for the shopping bag, 3) how to sew the handles, 4) how to sew and attach swivel clasp strip and 5) how to attach the button kam snap.
BenchLab Talented Instructor: Yugi Dewiratih of Dewiratihyugi.Artwork. You’ll be learning from a talented woman from Bandung, Indonesia who has been creating beautiful craftwork in Brunei for almost ten years. You’ll not believe that this artistic talent is actually a brilliant architect and Master of Management graduate. She first tried sewing in 2010, moving onto patchwork and quilting the following year. Check out her Instagram account and you’ll know why we salute to Ma’am Yugi!
